What types of services do you offer?
We offer Manicures, Pedicures, Spa Pedicures, Ingrown Nail Removal and much more. To see all of our services, you can view them here.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all forms of credit card payments: Visa, MasterCard. American Express, Discover, Debit card as well as Cash.
Beginning December 21st, 2021, there will be a 4% credit card usage charge per credit/debit card transaction whether card is on file or swiped. Please bring cash if you prefer that payment form. There is no credit/debit card accepted for transactions less than $20. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Thank You.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, when booking an appointment, there is a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit that goes towards the balance of your services. This deposit is 100% NON-REFUNDABLE and 100% NON-TRANSFERABLE to other clients.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please Note: When booking an appointment, please remember to choose all services you need especially nail art, this way we can accommodate your requests and still be on time for our next client.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we accept walk-ins.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operations are between 10:00am and 7:00pm Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
For everyone’s enjoyment and peace of services, cell phone usage is prohibited to further adhere with maintaining a peaceful and zen space for all.
Appointment Policies
What is your lateness policy?
Lateness effects the scheduling for everyone’s appointment. There is a 15 minute grace period to show to your appointment. After that time has lapsed, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge a late fee up to $20. You will forfeit 100% of your $25 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, and your deposit cannot be used for another appointment. You will have to reschedule accordingly.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations/Rescheduling:
Your appointments at Shades are reserved especially for your relaxation and we ask that you respectfully honor our appointment policies. Cancellations less than 24-hours prior to your appointment will forfeit 100% of your deposit. No calls/no shows will forfeit 100% of your deposit AND 50% of your booked services. Deposits are NONREFUNDABLE.
As an one-time courtesy, we will move your original appointment deposit to your new rescheduled appointment if you reschedule within 24-HOURS PRIOR of your original appointment. New appointment must be made within 7 days to still have deposit honored, otherwise after 7 days it is forfeited.
By inputing your credit card information upon booking, your are hereby AUTHORIZING SHADES BY SHAR LLC to charge your credit card under these policies, terms & conditions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
COVID-19/Health cancellations:
For everyone’s safety, a mask is required during the entirety of your visit. Upon arrival, use the contactless temperature scanner in lobby for entry. There is absolutely no company allowed during your visit to adhere to the 6-ft apart guidelines. A restroom is available to wash your hands, and hand sanitizer is available and is required before all nail services. If you are sick or have any symptoms, please reschedule ASAP. If you arrive to your appointment sick or with symptoms, your appointment will be canceled and 100% of your deposit forfeited. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Do we have a right to refuse?
Yes, due to the safety precautions and social distancing rules, guest and children are not allowed during your service/appointment.
Children 13 & under with appointments must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of their services. There is no drop off/ pick up due to the nature, demand and safety of the salon.
No pets/animals are allowed whether contained or leashed. 100% NO EXCEPTIONS.
All outdoor beverages/food are prohibited from the salon. 100% NO EXCEPTIONS.
What is your service guarantee?
As of 2/25/22, for quality control and assurance of our work, we will no longer be servicing acrylic/hard gel fill-ins over other salon’s work.
If you request a fill-in service, we will only fill in on our original work. Any fill-in not done at Shades will require a soak off and brand new set. Please schedule accordingly.
This is to ensure the quality of your nails starting from the base and eliminate us trying to correct work around/ over another salon’s work which is more work to fix.
As of 5/25/22, we will no longer allow any use of work/electronic devices during your nails services (only pedicures) to ensure quality and time control. We require your hands to be “hands-free” during the course of your nail services and will not alter our setup for your equipment. Please save any non services matters for when you are complete and meanwhile, relax and enjoy your time with us!
